VORTEX, A WORLDWIDE PATENTED INNOVATION
It uses the same patented technology as other Vortex solutions, but in an electromechanical version. It locks upon power release (Fail Safe).
VX CL215 is easy to install either from the front or side, depending on the furniture configuration. It includes waterproof lock control. (IP43)
UNIQUE TECHNOLOGY FOR EXTREMELY POWERFUL LOCKING WHICH WITHSTANDS FORCED ENTRY OF OVER 3,000N (300 Kgf)
The holding force of VX CL215 is 300 Kgf (with a pre-load force of 4 Kgf). This mini lock is therefore as effective as a high-quality electromagnet, but with ten times less bulk. The uniqueness of this locking system lies in a “diabolo” that is captured within a well. In the event of a break-in attempt, the mechanical lock is activated by power release. The “diabolo” then becomes trapped in the well through the deployment of metal balls contained within it. A unique technology delivering extremely powerful locking (compression/tension): 3,000N (300 Kgf), corresponding to Grade 4.
