VORTEX, A WORLDWIDE PATENTED INNOVATION
The VORTEX VX4400 is a worldwide patented innovation. This model is designed for locking mechanical or motorised sliding doors. It acts in an axial manner. Its unlocking is therefore carried out without any force constraints such as those encountered in classic latches.
Delivered with a mini electronic management circuit, it ensures interface with the other components of the door, such as its motorization.
UNIQUE TECHNOLOGY FOR EXTREMELY POWERFUL LOCKING ( > 6,800N)
The VORTEX VX4400 is a hybrid lock (electromagnetic + mechanical) smaller than an electromagnet. It guarantees an extremely powerful locking system! The exclusivity of this hybrid lock resides in a “diabolo” machine-manufactured from a high-strength alloy. The latter is captured within a well using the action of a vortex of electromagnetic forces. At this stage, the locking is ensured by the kinetics of the magnetic block. In the event of an attempted intrusion, the mechanical lock is triggered. The “diabolo” is trapped in the well by the deployment of the metal balls contained in it. The VORTEX is thus capable of resisting a break-in (pressure/tension) greater than 6,800N (680kgf), comparable to “grade 6+”!
A PATENTED PRE-ALARM SYSTEM
The VORTEX VX4400 is equipped with a pressure/tension sensor. This technology allows the VORTEX to trigger an alarm (local and/or channelled) BEFORE access is even forced. It is a unique system in the world of security and possesses a worldwide patent.
ELECTROMAGNETS INTRINSICALLY WITHOUT MAGNETIC REMANENCE
The HQMAG electromagnets have been designed with specific, exceptionally high quality materials according to our unique know-how, and have never been defective for 35 years and counting. This dual requirement applied to VX4400 offers a locking intrinsically without remanence. Therefore, at HQMAG, no mechanical repeller, or electric repeller (Kick-off), with reliability that is uncertain over time is added.
HIGH CORROSION RESISTANCE and DURABILITY
Like the other HQ MAG ranges, the VORTEX features a certified anti-corrosion treatment of unrivalled quality. It also has unparalleled endurance that allows it to withstand 1 million cycles without failing. These results prove that HQ MAG products are resistant over time, unlike the infamous, planned obsolescence from which many technological products suffer.
